WHAT'S NEAR:

This elegant and luxurious home is located in West Tisbury on the beautiful island of Martha’s Vineyard. It is located off of desirable Indian Hill Road near Arrowhead Farm. This large equestrian center is open to the public. The property is also just down the road from Cedar Tree Neck, one of the island's most beautiful walking trail systems. You are also near the world-famous Polly Hill Arboretum and of course the fantastic Lambert's Cove Beach. There is an available 11 passenger van with a beach sticker as well. $1,000 per week.

We are also just five miles west of the Vineyard Haven Ferry Terminal and seven miles northwest of the Martha's Vineyard Airport, allowing you to easily reach the house no matter how you arrive. The beautiful shores of Lambert's Cove Beach are two miles north, and the many attractions of downtown Oak Bluffs - from the historic Flying Horses to Inkwell Beach - are eight miles east. Edgartown is a short drive down the Edgartown road where there is ample public parking and transportation options. You can even ride your bike there through the State Forest.

I own and manage several rental properties. I grew up on the vineyard and spent my summers there until I graduated from college. Now I come back every spring and fall to work on the property.
Our main rental property is the Captain Morse House in Edgartown. This property has been in our family since 1955.
In 2017 we bought Indian Hill Road as a flip and then promptly made a classic mistake. We over improved the property. Because of this it will be hard to sell so we have decided to rent it out. The island has a shortage of good quality rentals and we think that this will rent well. Both of our properties have 5 star reviews.

Indian Hill Road was a brand new project for us. It is quite a home and we are proud to be able to share it with you.
We had one very successful (5 star review!) rental for the main house in 2019. The cottage we rented out for the first time long term (18 months) to a young couple. They are moving out June 1st. Those successful rentals have encouraged us to put the house on the rental market for this coming season.

My own background:
I grew up in the Captain Morse House in Edgartown and spent my summers there until I graduated from college. The Captain Morse House was purchased by my father the year I was born and was used by our family exclusively until 2008.

Prior to managing property I owned and ran Island Sports from 1974 until 2007 with my wife Nancy. I have built several homes and done numerous renovations. I enjoy the challenge of creating wonderful living spaces. I am now a Realtor in Southern Florida but really spend most of my time working on these rental properties.
